That's what our cameras, phones and other personal devices are becoming: a way to gather information that we couldn't gather easily even a few years ago. I just showed a repairman what our leaky window looked like when it was actually leaking and not describing it to him a day after the fact. When the kids have rashes or nasty coughs, I'll capture that with the phone or camera and shot it to the doctor, just in case the kid doesn't behave like that when we get to the doctor's office. There have been instances of cheap surveillance gear capturing bad behavior by people's neighbors. Now, people are using cameras attached to head gear while biking to capture nastiness from car drivers. This is going to be changing a lot of people's behavior in the coming years.
